Why just twitter, when you can titter!*

*verb, int.- to laugh in a nervous, affected, or partly suppressed manner : giggle, snicker

Unique cards featuring 19th century characters with modern sensibilities.

Sure, it was an era of good manners and good breeding. But underneath all the etiquette (not to mention all those clothes), what might they have really been thinking? Why do their portraits make them look so...serious?

Okay, okay, we know why they're not smiling. They had to sit perfectly still - sometimes for as long as an hour- so the photographer could capture a clear image. You try to smile that long!

Our set of twelve 5" x 7" cards are printed on glossy stock that mimics the original "tin type" photograph, including a hint of the hand coloring and the detail of the original paper frames, like the image on the left.
A sturdy box is available to make the collection a great gift.

The inside message leaves plenty of space so you can use these as as any occasion note cards for friends who enjoy your sophisticated and slightly wicked sense of humor. Click on "The Cards" to see the 12 different personalities.

Between e-mails, instant messages and twitters, sometimes it's just nice to send a card. Say "Happy Birthday," "Congratulations," or "Thinking of You" in a whole new old-fashioned way.
